Now my gravity engine is working, I fear that it will fall in the wrong hands. I must not think what will happen if the hawks get their paws on this thing.
Sept 93 - I finally made it to Mars. The antigrav device worked very well..
I am living in my spacecraft, until I can build something.
Lucky! I discovered a large cavesystem nearby... moved spacecraft.
I explored some caves..they must have been in use by them ol' Martians..Discovered an old stronghold, and a lot of interesting holes to deeper caves.
Stole back to Earth to get a lot of useful junk from scrapheaps.
Got work underway.. building.
Jan, 94 - Building is lots of work.
I finished the airlock and the airmaker..
tis a bit clumsy, but it works okay. Filling those big caves with air will take a long time.

Garage is more or less finished, now I must have a food machine, since
my stores are running low.I am tired of eating spam.
Lucky there is some life here..Processing food is easier than making it from the dust.
The nasty MartianCrud I found in the Stony Plain is useless. It only creeps through the
dust, looking for water, anything to suck dry..Oct 7 - Underneath the big cave is still another complex.. have to dig it out
Nov 3 - Wonder! I discovered an old temple!
Seems to me it was dedicated to Bast..Those ol' Martians must have been worshipping Bast too!

There is a strange machine hidden inside Bast's altar.I wonder if I can get it working again?
Feb 94 - Machine completely baffles me.
I got it cleaned now. It must work on antigrav too, but on totally different principles than mine

98 - Am devising a way to connect to that Internet on earth

Now some hacking to make them think I got a real address on earth
feb 00 - They are sending a lander.
damn thing will arrive nearby.. I have to do something about it.
- Cut of its antenna's just after it had landed. How they will wait on earth for its signal!
Now i can get that thing in for study.

March 00 - I put camera's in some selected locations and call that a palace...
Now I can hook into them Palace chatcircles, get me some visitors to relieve boredom
Visitors all think this is fantasy...I will keep it that way.
June 00 - I have to do something about water... recycling the used water helps but I still am losing it
Maybe I can extract some from the ore I found in the mine complex.. More special machine building
Sept 00 - Finally got a separate powerplant, driven by the antigrav generator.
Itsa kludge, not very efficient, but it works. Lotsa power!
Jan 01 -Still more digging at the temple. I found an Exedra, (a hidey hole for the priests?)
March 01 - Pressing the painting on the wall of the Exedra brought me to what I can only call a Martian bedroom.
Strange bedrooms those guys had...
April 01 - Took a trek on the surface.
Behind the Stoney plain is yet another plain.
Found Silver there! And another grotto
Will name the grotto after one of the regular palacevitors...
Mai 01 - Oh weh! out of curiosity, I pried open a stone artifact in the Martian bedroom.
And a horrible Grue jumped onto me!
I ran away, and now its loose...
I don't know where it is hiding, but I am sure its still there.
No doubt, that Grue must have been the reason why all those Martians took off.
Aug 01 - After a year of beaming ore with z-rays it finally yields some water.
Even if it's only a drop at a time, it is good to think of Mars having some open
water again.
sept 01 - I am sure of it now.
hidden behind rocks and rockfalls is a complete Martian city.
I found nother hollow place in level -1 and it had a partial
buried sculpture. I recognized the form immediately , clear Martian work of period IV.
I wonder what I'll find next...
dec 01 -YES! The sculpture in the Exedra of the Temple of Bast is really a door!
And behind it.... OH, what beauty!
In my mind , I can still see the Martians strolling around in that city,
even after all those years!
jan 02 -The strong door in the Martian city showed me again how clever these Martian
engineers were..
I tried to unlock or force it in vain, until I found the eye key ...
when I showed that to the door, it swung open by itself!
Feb 02 - They could even utilize their antigravity to look from
underground into Deep Space! So far, I found 4 settings of that telescope,
maybe there are more..
april 02 -They must have had a good reason to put that fossilized animal in that room ..
and a fearsome beasty it is!
mai 02 - The Martian Throne is awesome...It would be a great crime to remove those
spectacular blue gems.
june 02 - Further search of the ancient village on level -1 turned up a charnel
house ...filled with Grue-bones! Now I know where to put the fossilized
Grue I found on the Stoney plain
july 02 - Took some time off, vacation-like, to travel the eastern
plain. There I found the first artifact on the surface, a
Stair. I faithfully cleaned the dust from it, till the marmor shone
in the wan Martian light.
august 02 - I keep on being amazed at the ingenuity of them Martians.
They made a space filled with a strange, flowing substance...
It is sticky and slippery at the same time. And there is an oval, mechanical
looking tunnel there, with a cold wind blowing out of it. No idea
where it was for or where it will lead me.
sept 02 - Went back to the Grot on the surface for a re-examination, and lo!
I found a way deeper in! 'Twas there that I found 3 Grue-eggs, 2 of them
clearly stonyfied, but one showed up a faint sparkle of life.
I had to try. I kludged together an incubator for that egg, maybe some light
q-beaming will hatch it.

I Don't want that to happen to me again, NEVER. I knew these mechanical
tunnel led to no good! Even so, when I reached the end, I came
by a stone wall. On it was a weird device. And when I touched that
...I became Zerforted! Luckily the effects soon decreased.
It was an indescribable sensation, for a short while,
I must have been spread out in time.
