The Grue suffers from a terrible loneliness, no doubt caused by its horrible, ugly mean.
It greets other life forms by declaring its unending love and showering them with kisses.
If responded to, the Grue will try to suck its victim dry.
Grue is believed the prime reason why all the Martians left.
